Tape extensions are one of the newest hair extension trends on the market. Tape in hair extensions are thin hair wefts, about 1” inch wide pre-taped hair wefts, that get taped-in in between your own hair. 2 tapes are used together to sandwich your natural hair. This method requires no tools or chemicals and lasts up to 6-8 weeks before the tapes need to be lifted. With good quality tapes, made from Slavic hair, tapes can be reused 2-3 times. Length and volume can be achieved quickly (20-30 minutes for volume and 45-60 minutes for length).
Unlike other ranges of tape-in extensions, mass-produced in China, available in 55 colours and then re-labelled as Slavic hair before sold to the customer our tape-in extensions are the only ones on the market that use genuine Slavic hair. Our tapes are made in small batches and our colour line is achieved not with dye but by blending multiple shades of natural hair by hand before it is sewn into each tape.
Yes. Tapes were original designed for women with fine hair. If you have thin hair, tape in extensions are one of the best hair extension choices for you as they’re thin and lightweight, so they won’t be too heavy for your head.
Simply put, because it is genuine Slavic hair. Our tapes aren’t mass produced. We don’t have dozens and dozens of colours, ready to ship with express delivery. Most salons and website that are advertising Slavic tapes in London and UK, or any mixed colour or balayage are not selling Slavic tapes. Slavic hair is simply too scarce and too expensive to use to create a mass market line of tapes. While these tapes might be of decent quality they should not be confused as Slavic tapes.

The hair extensions service will last up to 2-3 months before they need maintenance while the Slavic hair will last many years, if properly maintained.
NO. You must have maintenance done on your hair extensions by the 4th month. As your hair sheds on a daily basis as part its natural process it is normal to lose up to 50 hairs a day. This combined with natural hair growth of around ½ inch per month can cause matting within the root area of the extension, as well as added weight pulling on the lengthened root area. If you were to keep them in for longer than 4 months you risk damage to your own hair.
The attachment process usually takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on the thickness of your existing hair and whether you opt for fashion colours, a half head or a full head of extensions. Upon request and subject to availability the time required to fit the extensions may be reduced by booking an extra extension stylist.
No. For a healthy individual with no hair disease, hair fibre is very incredibly strong. Hair also has elastic properties. It can stretch up to 20% of its original length before breaking when it is dry and when it is wet it may stretch up to 50% before breaking. That is not to say hair cannot break. If you pull on hair slowly and steadily with gradual increasing force the hair will resist for quite some time before breaking. But if you apply sudden force and yank on the hair it will break. The tensile strength of the hair is reduced, the hair has no time to respond and stretch, which distributes the force over the length of the hair fibre, and the hair just snaps. So, despite the apparent strength of hair, it will break if you brush, comb or pull too vigorously because this applies a sudden force to the hair. This is the reason why the improper removal of glued extensions can damage hair and while the removal of micro rings cannot.
