Terms and Conditions

Please note that to receive treatments by any of the therapists at Beauty & Melody, you must agree to all of these conditions. If you have any queries please ask to speak to the clinic or Spa manager.

Definitions

  • “us”, “we”, “our”, “Beauty and Melody” refers to the clinic or Spa run by Beauty and Melody Limited.
  • “you”, “client” refers to a customer of Beauty and Melody.

General

  • By becoming or being a customer at the Beauty and Melody, your agreement with these terms and conditions is implied.
  • These terms and conditions may be updated at our discretion without prior notice.
  • It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms and conditions, a written copy of which is available on request.
  • You may book appointments with us in person, by telephone, by email or our online booking system.
  • Advanced bookings may be refused to clients who have missed appointments without giving at least 48 hours notice.
  • We reserve the right to request a deposit in order to secure an appointment. Any changes to the appointment must be made in accordance to the cancellation policy.
  • Arriving late may interfere with your treatment, all appointments will end at their scheduled time so that the next client will not be delayed, and a full charge will be applied.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to treatment if it is your first appointment at the clinic or Spa. We require this time for you to complete a personal consultation card, this document is kept securely and in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • We will refuse treatment to customers who behave in an ill-mannered, aggressive or hostile way towards any member of staff.
  • Cancellations require 48 hours notice, otherwise prepaid deposits will be lost or up to 50% of the total treatment price will be charged, if we are unable to re-sell the reserved treatment time. Appointments missed will be charged at full price.
  • Our therapists are not obliged to treat you if they deem treatment is not appropriate for any reason.
  • Some treatments require a patch test for those clients who have never had the treatment with ourselves.
  • We reserve the right the refuse to treat if a patch test has not be performed by ourselves.
  • Prior to any treatment, we will assess your suitability for treatment and whether treatment is likely to be successful. If deemed unsuitable we will inform you as to the reasons why, if you have already paid in full we will will refund the paid amount.
  • In some cases we can recommend an alternative method of treatment. If the alternative method treatment is less in price than the original purchase we will refund the difference.
  • Treatment time stated may include consultation and dressing time.
  • Each clients anatomy is different, therefore results are not guaranteed as many factors can influence treatment.
  • All courses must be paid for in full at the time of booking and completed within 12 months and are non-refundable. Missed appointments may result in treatments deducted from your course.
  • Have a validity of 12 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
  • Any offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion. Combined service packages are considered an offer as the price of the service is reduced to give the package price.
  • Retail products must be paid for in full at time of purchase or ordering.
  • Gift vouchers can be of any value when purchased at the clinic or Spa. There is a minimum limit of £20 and a maximum of £500 when purchased online.
  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Gift vouchers may be used for services performed by Beauty and Melody employees and product purchases at Beauty and Melody.
  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable & non-redeemable against services for Wrinkle Relaxing & Fillers (Injectables) & any other treatments performed by Beauty and Melody consultants.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.
  • Your gift card number must be quoted at the time of booking and the gift card handed to the receptionist at the start of your treatment.
  • You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session.
  • Late cancellation and “failure to show” terms as laid in Beauty and Melody booking policy also apply to gift cards – which will be made void at the clinic or Spa should you fail to give the required notice. Please check required notice periods based on the value of the booked treatment(s).
  • Any offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion. Combined service packages are considered an offer as the price of the service is reduced to give the package price.

  • Gift Packages are one or a set of services or treatments with one or more sessions. There is no minimum limit when purchased online.
  • Gift Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Gift Packages may be used for services or treatments performed by Beauty and Melody employees.
  • Gift Packages are non-refundable other than within the 14 day cancellation period if you have not started using this Gift Package.
  • Gift Packages cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.
  • Your gift card number must be quoted at the time of booking and the gift card handed to the receptionist at the start of your treatment.
  • You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session.

  • MelodyCard points cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.
  • Your MelodyCard must not be transferred to a third party.
  • Points can only be redeemed on certain treatments.
  • Points can NOT be redeemed for products.
  • Your MelodyCard cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
  • All client MelodyCard remain the property of Beauty and Melody.
  • Beauty and Melody reserves the right to without notice:
    a. terminate the scheme
    b. decline to issue Loyalty cards
    c. withdraw or cancel the loyalty card or scans collected
    d. alter or amend the terms & conditions of the Beauty and Melody MelodyCard scheme.
  • We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.
  • The following payment methods are welcome:
    • Most credit and debit Cards
    • American Express
    • Cash
    • Bank Transfer
    • Apple Pay
    • Google Pay

    All prices include value added tax at a current rate.

    All deposits are non-refundable.

  • It is illegal to smoke anywhere in the clinic or Spa.
  • Please inform your therapist of any medical condition including pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments may not be appropriate for you.
  • In the interest of comfort of all our clients, please refrain from talking on a mobile phone and ensure it is switched off, or on silent, for the full duration of your time at the clinic or Spa.
  • Please understand that we can cannot accommodate children under 12 unless supervised by an adult during your treatment.
  • Clients who bring children with them are responsible for keeping the children quiet and under control during their visit and if any child causes disruption we may cancel your appointment and ask you to leave.
  • Regrettably there is a no pet policy, due to allergies and in salon sanitisation.
  • Due to the nature of the products and equipment used, pets CANNOT be present during ANY treatments including consultation appointments.
  • Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.
  • At our discretion, we can offer a full refund on retail products if they are unused, in their original packaging, in a fully saleable condition and are accompanied by proof of purchase, presented within 14 days of purchase.
  • We do not offer a refund for treatments unless we acknowledge that the service received was below the professional standard we strive to achieve.
  • Gift Vouchers/Packages are non-refundable other than within the 14 day cancellation period if you have not started using this Gift Voucher/Package.
  • If you have a complaint about the service you have received at Beauty and Melody please speak to our clinic or Spa team leader or receptionist.
  • If the clinic or Spa team leader or receptionist is unable to resolve your complaint at the time, you may put your complaint in writing to the managers of Beauty and Melody Limited for further consideration.
  • Our team is doing their best to process all the claim as soon as possible. However, if more than 30 days passed since your last email, we advise you to check the Spam folder of your mailbox or reply using the initial email thread with our Customer Relations Team to support our team to identify your already opened claim faster. However, though every effort is made to ensure such accuracy, Beauty and Melody does not accept responsibility for errors in content. The site will be kept as up-to-date as possible at all times however if product, treatment, location, results updates have been made since last update on beautyandmelody.co.uk some variations may occur in, although not limited to size, price, description, product results, design, packaging and availability.

Beauty and Melody will do its best to ensure that the website is available and functions correctly at all times, but we make no warranties as to the availability or accessibility of the website, and we will not be liable for any damages, loss, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any lack of availability or accessibility of the website.

The material displayed on our site is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we and other members of our group of companies expressly exclude:

When registering on beautyandmelody.co.uk you accept and agree that your personal data provided during registration will be sent to our UK database owned by Beauty and Melody LTD. If you do not agree to your data being held in the UK please do not register with us. Once you shop and purchase online at beautyandmelody.co.uk, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions and privacy policy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and taking all reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You accept responsibility for all activities within your account or activities that affect your password. You must contact us immediately if you believe that your password has become known to somebody else, or may be used in any way that is has not be authorised by you. If your personal information changes or you would like to cancel your account then please notify us by contacting us.

Beauty and Melody and its partners and shopping sites provide access to the site on a temporary basis and reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice and/or terminate accounts without prior notice.

beautyandmelody.co.uk and its entire content belong to Beauty and Melody Ltd and its affiliates where applicable. including copyright in all of the text, logos, icons, images, graphics, video and audio clips, animations and software yet is not limited to these descriptions should other property appear on the site.

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.

By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Salon Policy:

We are a well-known beauty boutique salon and during busy times our appointment diary can be limited. In order to provide you and other clients with excellent customer service and access to appointments during peak times, we have a firm 48-hour cancellation policy.

Cancellations, reschedules & no show:

A full 48 hour’s notice of any change to the appointment time or date is required. If less than 48 hours there will be a charge of 100% of the total service cost. If you have pre-paid course it will be deducted from your session.

If you need to cancel your appointment (PLEASE NOTE: This includes rescheduling your appointment) please call us on 0207 112 8478. If you are cancelling outside of salon operating hours – you may cancel your appointment online or by email info@beautyandmelody.co.uk and should be followed up by a telephone call during salon operating hours. Since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation, any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in losing session.

As we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, guests are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made with the salon (verbal or written) forms a legally binding contract.

Absolutely no exceptions can be made to our cancellation policy because we often schedule and pay therapists to come in especially for your appointment.

Arriving:

Please arrive 5 minutes early for your laser treatment. Arriving late will mean deducting precious treatment minutes as each session will be finished exactly on time as a courtesy to the next client.

We fully understand that sometimes being late is outside of your control. Allow plenty of time for travel and to park your car. We will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals by performing the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining. Unfortunately, arriving late after the scheduled time of your appointment will result in less treatment length without the opportunity to reschedule. If you have a prepaid course and do not show up for your treatment or cancel 48 hours before your treatment you will forfeit your session.

We recommend that you plan ahead for your visit to our salon. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our location, parking, local buses and stations etc.

Appointment reminder by e-mail:

If you booked your appointment by phone and gave us correct email address , you will automatically receive a reminder text 72 hours in advance of your scheduled service(s). You will have the option to reschedule or cancel your appointment at that time. If we don’t receive a call to cancel or reschedule your appointment 48 hours in advance of your scheduled service(s), the services cannot be canceled or rescheduled after that.

Medication:

For health security, please inform us, if the case, if any treatment or medication you have to take, since the last session, if anything changed, in order to be able to have the laser.

Some medications have secondary reactions, there are photosensitive drugs and you cannot have the laser treatment.

Sun exposure / Skin reactions:

Please take into consideration the sun exposure, as you have to have 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the sun, as the laser treatment works with UV and it is not recommended at all.

During this time, please be sure you cover up, even when you are walking and it’s a sunny day (ex: long skirts if you having your legs done, shirts with long sleeves, if you are having the full arms done).

Due to the hot weather, we would like to remind you to avoid the sun and to come covered in all the areas you wish us to treat during your session.

Failing to do so, unfortunately will cause inability to carry out the treatment.

Please be aware that you have to use a minimum SPF 40 protection creams, before, after and in between the sessions.

Also, if there are any other skin changes since the last session, please inform us and check with your GP before the treatment, in order to save the time and the session.

Refund / Treatment Expiration:

Your treatment expires 12 months from purchase date.
In exceptional cases, we will add your expired sessions to your account.
Full or partial refund is available only if no session was used from this treatment.

Your spa day will include 1 to 3 hours use of the facilities (Depending on booking), including the Gym, Swimming pool, Steam room, Sauna and Jacuzzi.

If your booking includes a treatment, where possible we recommend arriving 1-2 hours before your booking to take advantage of the facilities, if you have a morning booking the earliest you can arrive is 9:45am but you can enjoy all facilities after your treatment.

Please be aware for any treatments booked – we have both Male and Female Therapists, if you have a preference please contact the spa in advance, we will be happy to try and accommodate your request, Treatments are subject to availability so please advise the spa of your treatment choice in advance.

We have both double and single treatment rooms available. If you were prefer to be in the double room for please request this prior to your arrival and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Valid for Over 18 Only ID must be shown at reception

All treatments not booked directly through us are non refundable

The spa is a NO PHONE zone- the use of mobile phones are not to be entered into the spa but MUST be left in the lockers provided

Swimwear is required at all times whilst using spa facilities

If your package includes a glass of bubbly please request this from Spa Reception. 

*Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your booking, late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time.

If your package includes a 30 minute treatment there is a surcharge of £5pp OR 3 treatment package at £10pp for weekend appointments- this must be paid for at time of booking.

If your voucher includes a £10 treatment voucher this must be purchased and booked for in advance.

Towels are provided by the spa however Robes and Slippers are for hire at £3 each person.

Please note a 100% charge will be incurred for any treatment not cancelled at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled time. All treatments include changing time and any follow up questions

Salon Loyalty Points Policy:

Beauty & Melody has launched Loyalty program for all our customers from 1 June 2021.

  • For every £25 you spend for any services only you will receive 1 Loyalty Point.
  • 1 Loyalty Point is equivalent to £1, and you can use it at any time without a minimum limit.
  • Loyalty points are NOT offered when purchasing products.
  • Can only be used at the Beauty & Melody Salon branches and can’t be converted to cash.

Refund / Expiration:

  • Loyalty points will be canceled in case of refund.
  • Loyalty points are valid for a period of 24 months from the date of their award.
